The staff at the USD Archives and Special Collections has little information about this photograph. We do know that it was taken at a reception following Ringley Scholars Recital and that the man standing on the left in the back row is Usher Abell, former Chairman of the USD Music Department. USD photograph assistants have been working throughout the Summer to research, identify, and organize recent additions to the USD Photograph Collection. During this process, employees have discovered that a number of photographs contain little to no information regarding the subjects of the photograph, the occasion the photograph documents, and the time period during which the photograph was taken.
