Winter is on the way, and so is bundling up. A photograph of members of the 1926 Keystone honorary society bring this to mind as they stand for their picture in front of Old Main. According to Cummins, the Keystone honorary organization was replaced by the Mortar Board in 1928 for seniors.

“Artifacts from the History of Public Education in South Dakota: 1860-1946” is on display now on the first floor of the Delzell Education Center.  The exhibition includes materials gathered from the USD Archives and Special Collections, the South Dakota Historical Soceity, and the Nebraska Historical Soceity.

You should also check out the exhibitions dedicated to Doctor William Farber located on the second and third floors of the University Library.  The exhibition displays correspondance and objects from Farber’s personal papers.

The education exhibition was researched, designed, and constructed by Archives Assistant Adrienne Evans with intial planning and research done by intern Molly McGrane.  The Farber exhibition was researched, designed, and constructed by Archives Graduate Assistant Kelly Goertzen.
